There are thousands of dogs that desperately need forever homes. Many of these dogs were simply let go by their owners by just letting them out of the house. These dogs often rely on their own to survive and not many thrive living alone.
A couple driving down the freeway in Utah happened to see a dog that was crossing the road. The couple decided to do a U-turn to look for the dog and to see if everything was alright. After a minute or two of searching for them, the dog suddenly appeared who was bouncing up and down and apparently happy to see them.
It was obvious that the dog was well cared for and the couple decided to look for the owners. Eventually, the couple happened to find the house where the dog lived and decided to return the dog to the owners. Unfortunately, the owners didn’t want the dog anymore.
The couple couldn’t take the dog since they lived in an apartment where no dogs were allowed. However, they couldn’t just leave the dog to fend for herself. So they reached out for someone to take the dog to foster or adopt. They eventually got in contact with a woman named Brianna.
Brianna lived in a van with two other dogs and she wasn’t really sure how it would all work out. However, when the dog, who was later named Birdie, rested her head into Brianna’s lap, that was the end of Brianna’s doubts. Brianna knew that Birdie will become part of her family.
Birdie soon met her new doggie siblings, Bucket and Dagwood, who thought her everything about becoming an adventure dog. Birdie was quite timid when she first came into her new forever home with Brianna but it didn’t take long for Birdie to become confident and come out of her shell. Birdie soon became the perfect adventure dog who loves exploring the great outdoors with her doggie siblings and Brianna.
It’s amazing to see Birdie develop into such a confident and playful puppy. Brianna couldn’t be prouder of what Birdie has become and she’s also proud of her other dogs who welcomed Birdie with open paws. Here’s a heartwarming video showing how Birdie found the perfect forever home.
