Since the pandemic has begun, we haven’t been able to see our friends as often as we want to. However, this isn’t the case for these two Golden Retriever best friends from Florida. You see, instead of being separated by the current situation, it even made them hang out more, and their unstoppable friendship is melting hearts around the internet.
Ever since Kevin met Captain, the two pups had been Tampa, Florida’s most adorable and inseparable doggy pair. This was no surprise, though, as they were quick to warm up to each other the moment they were introduced. Before their owners knew it, the two Golden Retrievers were best friends.
Of course, since they basically lived close to each other, Kevin’s fur mom, Elysse, and Captain’s owner, Jane, always made sure to schedule playdates for the two of them. Elysse would regularly drive Kevin to Captain’s house, where they would hang out and play all day long.
These would typically happen every week or so, and it had come to a point where Kevin already knew what his best friend’s house looked like, and Captain had memorized Kevin’s car. Captain’s neighbors had also gotten used to seeing him with Kevin and knew they were a pair.
Just recently, Elysse and Jane decided to level up their two pups’ playdate and do a sleepover instead. It was quite safe to say that the two dogs couldn’t be happier with the arrangement. The moment Kevin pulled up in Captain’s driveway, the latter was already jumping in excitement.
The duo then proceeded with their usual play wrestling matches that lasted for hours. Their fur moms then arranged a lovely candlelit dinner for them before setting them up with a doggy movie and some popcorn. When Kevin said good-bye the next day, Captain had a hard time letting his best friend go.
Thankfully, they were able to meet the week after that again, and there would surely be more sleepovers for the two of them in the future. Watch Kevin and Captain’s cute sleepover here.
