Have you ever wondered what’s the second thing that dogs love the most? Well, if you’re a dog parent or perhaps an avid fan of dogs, then you should already know by now that they love eating. This is not exactly a big secret, and anyone who has any level of interest in dogs knows this fact.
However, dogs just can’t eat anything, which is unfortunate for them because they simply love eating human food. One of the things that they love gobbling up is ice cream. In this viral video, we’ll get to enjoy a Doberman pup named Kruz, who “pays” for his popsicles by doing tricks.
Dogs tend to behave like children, and just like a little child, Kruz goes absolutely nuts once he hears the ice cream truck’s sweet melodies. Given that he is a dog with a powerful sense of hearing, you can bet your bottom dollar that he knows every time the truck rolls around.
His human, Joey Ferris, loves him enough to indulge him every now and then. Also, he knows the ingredients of the popsicles he gives to Kruz, and his pup is not lactose intolerant, so these are safe for him to consume. But instead of just handing him the frozen treats, Joey uses them as training tools.
Understandably, the 4-year-old Doberman goes wild in excitement, but with just a simple command from his dad, Kruz immediately sits still. For the first trick, Joey places the popsicle on top of the dog’s head and tells him to wait. When he got the signal to eat the treat, he does so in a flash.
It was so fast that we needed a slow-motion replay for that. It’s not the first time we’ve seen that trick, but still, it never fails to impress us. After that, Kruz did a high-five, a handshake, and he also played dead. This pup is one of the most disciplined dogs we’ve ever seen who belongs to a person who’s not a dog trainer. See Kruz in action in the video below.
