A dog named Kinley became deaf when she was around six months old. Nobody knows what caused her to lose her hearing and she gets a little anxious whenever she’s left alone.
Kinley is quite intelligent and has learned a lot of sign language commands from her mom.
Kinley’s mom, Bridget Evans, also has special needs like her dog. She’s a wheelchair user and needs a service dog to help her with her everyday tasks. That’s when Bridget was paired with a service dog named Lily. Although Lily was supposed to be a service dog for Bridget, she also started taking care of Kinley as well.
Lily and Kinley bonded on the first day they met. It seemed like Lily knew that Kinley also needed a little help like their mom. Lily and Kinley’s bond is so strong that both are in tune with each other’s feelings. Whenever Bridget asks Lily if she wants to go for a walk outside, she would quickly get excited. However, the first thing Lily does is go to Kinley and boop her with her nose. This served as a signal for Kinley that it’s time to go for a walk, which she loves doing.
Kinley would instantly get excited even after waking up from a nap. Thanks to Lily, Kinley gained so much confidence. She is less anxious with Lily around and she’s also a lot happier. Lily is an amazing service dog who doesn’t just take care of Bridget but also makes sure that Kinley doesn’t miss out on the fun.
Lily and Kinley are best friends who are so amazing together. They are both sweet dogs and it’s truly heartwarming to see that they take care of each other. Bridget considers herself lucky to have such amazing dogs to be part of her family. Here’s a heartwarming video showing Lily taking care of her mom and her doggie sibling.
