When foster mother Aria first saw Bella, she was tied up and every bone on her body was visible. She was extremely thin and still had to care for her three puppies.
When Aria approached her, the dog’s entire body shook in delight and its tail wagged so vigorously. And when the foster mother took the dog’s puppies, Bella showed that she was a really gentle dog that did not even bark.
After being untied, she hurriedly followed Aria inside the vehicle. It seemed like Bella realized that she and her puppies needed help and Aria was there to do that.
When she was first weighed that evening, she weighed only 29 pounds. Aside from that, her puppies were in poor condition.
Unfortunately, two of her three puppies did not survive the night because they were already ill. But one of them survived. This was Luka and he quickly found a home to care for him.
Aria continued to help Bella gain weight by giving her four daily meals and protein-rich foods. But the dog was still in survival mode, and all she did was just try to get her strength back.
It was a lengthy process, but eventually, Bella began to gain weight and her coat became more vibrant. She got increasingly friendlier, and she really enjoyed cuddling. Learning how to be a dog was Aria’s favorite aspect of Bella’s rehabilitation. She was initially afraid of other dogs, but she eventually became comfortable enough to play with them.
She began to wag her tail more frequently and adored exploring nature. Therefore, they began going on treks where Aria was confident enough to be off-leash and enjoy herself. Additionally, they had beach days, which were her favorite. She adored running and playing by the shore.
Bella developed into the dog she was destined to be. Now, she has found the forever home she deserved.
