Every day, homeless dogs do their best to survive. They frequently rummage through our trash in quest of food to satisfy their hunger. There are also times when they become ill, which makes their life even more difficult.
Among these unfortunate dogs is Buddy, a stray dog that was rescued and later diagnosed with an illness. He was a typical stray that slept under automobiles and begged for food from passersby. Buddy endured a hostile environment in which he had to struggle for survival, until one day, a bunch of people arrived and helped him so that he did not have to suffer anymore.
Howl Of A Dog is a known animal rescue group that gives dogs like Buddy a second chance at life. The rescue crew took the friendly and affectionate dog into their shelter and began caring for him. They brought Buddy to the veterinarian for a checkup, but the results were not what they had hoped for.
The vets discovered a tumor on Buddy’s spleen, necessitating an emergency operation. The dog underwent a total splenectomy, which involved the removal of his entire spleen. Buddy was also diagnosed with lymphoma in its early stages, despite the operation being successful.
Buddy remained unfazed by his cancer diagnosis, and he made a full recovery after undergoing surgery. Due to the early detection of Buddy’s cancer, his rescuers were optimistic that he would continue to live a happy life, which he did. Buddy overcame all obstacles and so he is able to enjoy life as he should.
Buddy has been adopted by a family in Michigan, and has exhibited no signs of cancer recurrence. Now he can embark on his adventures with his new humans and create a lifetime of wonderful memories with them. He really deserves this and we are so happy that he finally got it.
