A sweet photo of two dogs named Agatha and Jukebox cuddled up on a bed has gone viral online. The two canines live together at the same animal shelter in Arizona and have grown so close that they are almost inseparable.
They first met at the shelter’s playground, and since then, they’ve been best friends.
The staff at the shelter are happy to see their dogs getting a lot of attention on social media, and they hope that these canines will soon find their new homes. There are many reasons why people abandon their dogs at shelters. For some, it was because they couldn’t afford to take care of them anymore.
Some had to move away and couldn’t bring their dogs with them. Others simply didn’t want to bother with the hassle and responsibility of owning a pet. Whatever the reason, the majority of these dogs were perfectly healthy and well-behaved when their owners abandoned them at a shelter.
Abandoned dogs at shelters often form strong bonds with other abandoned dogs. These bonds can be so strong that some won’t even go anywhere without their friends by their side. They also support and protect each other, which is why they often get adopted together as pairs.
They will usually sleep together, eat together, and even play together. A lot of people choose to adopt two dogs at the same time because many owners want to give their pets a friend to keep them company and make sure that they don’t feel lonely when they’re away from home. But sometimes, it can be hard for two dogs to get along, and they may fight over food or toys, so check in on them every once in a while.
Adopting two dogs at once can be a big commitment, so make sure that you’re ready. If you can’t take care of two dogs at once, then it’s best to adopt one first and see how things go before actually adding another pet into the mix.
