Liz Gregg is among the talented photographers who already worked with several celebrities. But with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the creatives industry is one of the hardest-hit sectors.
As such, Liz had to stretch her creative juices to deal with the economic meltdown. This is why she engaged in one of the projects she loves the most, with dogs.
Aside from being a renowned photographer in the movie industry, Liz has a penchant for dogs. She mentioned that she loves making dogs as subjects of her art because of their positive manners.
For Liz, dogs are one of the cutest subjects for most photographers like her. This is because dogs are naturally photogenic and require little to no effort to be cute.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, the livelihood of Liz also got affected. This is why she decided to channel her energy into meaningful pastimes like having several photoshoots with dogs. Recently, the photographer held a photoshoot with smiling dogs.
According to Liz, she is doing this photoshoot to help in the adoption of these dogs. Since most of the dogs she is shooting are rescue dogs, Liz wants to help the dogs get noticed. For Liz, her art could go a long way and influence people to adopt cute dogs.
Liz partnered with Sony and the All Dogs Matter for this initiative. The All Dogs Matter is a London-based charity that rehomes shelter dogs. The theme of the photoshoot is happy dogs, and Liz was able to take hilarious photos of dogs in their most joyful faces.
Based on the study conducted by the All Dogs Matter, dog adoption significantly increased during the community lockdown. This is why they are taking this chance to make people aware that several rescue dogs are looking for new homes.
