Aurore and her husband were a kind couple who loved all kinds of animals. When they heard about Rillette, a two-week-old Goose that needed a home, they didn’t think twice to adopt her.
New sister
The couple was a bit nervous when they brought Rillette home. They had a Bull terrier, named Nino, and they weren’t sure how he would react to a new friend of a different species.
On Rillette’s first day in her new home, she wouldn’t stop crying. Aurore and her husband didn’t know how to calm the goose down but luckily, Nino came and Rillette instantly went quiet.
Rillette immediately jumped out of the box she was in and began to follow Nino around the house. It didn’t take long before Nino and Rillette started to do everything together.
Nino was happy to take the role of being a big brother to Rillette. He made sure that Rillette was safe and showed her the ways around the house. The couple were surprised since they had never seen Nino be so delicate and gentle with anyone.
Forever home
As the months passed, Nino and Rillette bond grew stronger. Every morning, he would wake his parents up so that he could go outside and play with Rillette.
Once Aurore opens the back door, Nino would sprint to Rillette. The two would spend all morning running around and chasing each other around the yard. When Nino would get exhausted, Rillette would walk all over him as if she were teasing him.
Aurore and her husband never imagined Nino and Rillette to become so close. Their friendship benefitted each other since Rillette became more confident and Nino became more playful. The couple were immensely happy that they made the right decision in adopting Rillette.
